What if my training application Fidelity believes there are many distinct advantages to including motion cueing as part of flight training. Besides the additional vestibular input that is so critical to properly training pilots, nothing task-loads a pilot quite like a training session in simulator with the turbulence and wind shear realism of the MOTUS simulation device. However, Fidelity recognizes that not all applications call for a motion base. For those applications that do not require motion, Fidelity offers all the simulation technology available in the MOTUS simulator in a fixed-based flight training device. These FTDs are available in reconfigurable or type-specific designs, for both fixed-wing aircraft and rotorcraft. Fidelity’s proprietary capability to allow the user to revise the aerodynamic model in real time, to meet either training or regulatory requirements, is also available in either MOTUS or fixed-base units. In addition, Fidelity can provide fixed-base FTDs either with its proprietary LCD Mosaic Wall™ external visual display or a projected display with greater than 180° horizontal field-of-view. Only
Fidelity offers a complete range of flight simulation devices in either full-motion
or fixed-base configuration, and at an affordable price point representative of
traditional fixed-base FTDs. | |
