ProFlight,
Inc. of Carlsbad, CA, one of the leading initial and recurrent type-specific
flight training organizations in the country, has purchased a Cessna Conquest
MOTUS™ flight simulation device from Fidelity Flight Simulation. This simulator
will be type specific for both the Conquest 425 and 441 flight models, and will
include Fidelity's six-axis motion base and its four-LCD RealVision external visual
display. "This will be the most type specific
fixed-wing flight simulation device we have ever produced," said Mark Limbach,
V.P., Marketing for Fidelity. "All of the cockpit systems and functionality ProFlight
needs to meet underwriter training requirements will be included in this simulator.
Combined with Fidelity's motion cueing and wrap-around external display, it should
provide ProFlight an ideal flight training tool." "For
over four years, ProFlight has been searching for an affordable, high-quality
flight simulation device that would not only satisfy stringent aviation insurance
underwriting requirements, but would also fulfill the exacting constraints of
the ProFlight curriculums," explains Caleb Taylor, President of ProFlight, Inc.
"When we learned of Fidelity's flight training devices, we were astonished at
the level of state-of-the-art sophistication built into these machines at such
an affordable price. New technologies implemented into these devices create amazingly
realistic flight models that rival those costing millions. This will allow us
to provide flexible training options for our customers at highly competitive prices.
We look forward with excitement to greatly enhancing ProFlight's well-known Conquest
initial and recurrent training programs with the MOTUS™ flight simulator."
By carefully specifying the level of required
systems replication, ProFlight is able to meet all its curriculum requirements
without letting costs escalate. "Most of ProFlight's customers won't have any
idea we worked hard to lower the cost of this flight simulation device," claims
Limbach. "The difference between the type specific MOTUS and airline-type full
flight simulators continues to narrow, even though our systems cost less than
equivalent static flight training devices." ProFlight,
Inc., founded in 1988, has grown to become one the country's leading initial and
recurrent turboprop proficiency schools. For more information, contact Karen at
