Air Orlando, located at Orlando Executive Airport, has purchased a MOTUS 622 Flight Simulation Device (FSD) from Fidelity Flight Simulation. The MOTUS FSD will provide Air Orlando with full motion simulation, including Fidelity’s wrap-a-round high resolution visual display and worldwide navigation database. The unit will also include Garmin and Honeywell GPS units, and dynamic control loading. This Fidelity MOTUS FSD firmly establishes Air Orlando as one of the leading flight training organizations in Central Florida.

Besides aerodynamic flight models for the C-172, Beech Baron and Piper Seneca I, Fidelity will also provide Air Orlando with a special “Upset” trainer capable of spin training. Spin awareness, prevention and recovery is one of the prime objectives of Air Orlando, which wants to provide this training to its students in a safe and nonintimidating environment.

“We are delighted to have a MOTUS simulator available in Central Florida,” claims Graham Hodgetts, President of Fidelity Flight Simulation. “General aviation pilots in one of the largest concentrations of flight training on earth will finally have available to them the same sophisticated training tools available to the airlines.”
